68th Berlin International Film Festival 2018 winners list

  • The 68th Berlin International Film Festival was held in Berlin, Germany on February 24, 2018.
  • The film , ‘Touch Me Not”, directed by Romanian Adina Pintilie won the Golden Bear prize for best film which surpized everyday. The film talks about intimacy and explicit sex and nobody, even director was not expecting to win the best award at the prestigious film festival like Berlin.
  • The ‘Berlin Film Festival’ is one of the oldest and most prestigious film festivals in the world.

  • Jury Grand Prix Silver Bear: Twarz (Director: Malgorzata Szumowska, Poland)
  • Silver Bear for best screenplay: Manuel Alcala and Alonso Ruizpalacios (Film: Museo, Mexico)
  • Silver Bear Alfred Bauer Prize for work that opens new perspectives: Las Herederas Best documentary: Waldheims Walzer (Ruth Beckermann)
  • Golden Bear for best short film: The Men Behind the Wall (Ines Moldavsky, Israel)
  • Teddy for best feature film with gay or lesbian context: Tinta Bruta (Marcio Reolon and Filipe Matzembacher, Brazil)
