AIIMS Delhi Launches AI-Driven Mental Health App ‘Never Alone’

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, has launched ‘Never Alone’, an AI-powered mental health and wellness app designed for students. The initiative was launched on World Suicide Prevention Day to address the growing concerns around stress and mental health awareness.

AI-Based Mental Health Screening

According to Dr. Nand Kumar, Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, AIIMS, the app provides AI-assisted mental health screening at a cost of just 70 paise per student. The screening is based on scientific criteria and conducted through WhatsApp, making it accessible and affordable.

Consultation Options for Students

Following the screening, students can opt for a consultation with mental health professionals, available both online and offline. This ensures timely guidance and support for those in need.

Open for Educational Institutes

AIIMS Delhi has invited institutes across the country to adopt this facility to promote student mental wellness and integrate preventive mental health care into their systems.
