Andaman and Nicobar Command Hosts Third ‘Dweep Diksha Dialogue’

The Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC), India’s only operational Joint Services Command, successfully organized the third edition of the Dweep Diksha Dialogue on September 19–20, 2025, at Sri Vijaya Puram, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The dialogue was held under the theme “Evolution of ANC as a Strategic Hub and Beyond.”

Background

Instituted in 2023, the Dweep Diksha Dialogue reflects ANC’s transformation from a geographically isolated outpost into a dynamic operational and intellectual hub, shaping policy, operational planning, and regional stability.

2025 Focus Areas

The third edition highlighted:

• Multi-domain warfare and integration across services.
• The role of grey-zone strategies in regional security.
• Strengthening maritime security architecture in the Indo-Pacific.
