Aspirational DMF Programme

Ministry of Mines unveiled the operational guidelines for the ‘Aspirational DMF Programme’ to enable convergence between the District Mineral Foundation (DMF) scheme and the Aspirational District Programme (ADP) & Aspirational Block Programmes (ABP), aiming to uplift the most underserved regions in India.

  • Union Minister Shri G Kishan Reddy highlighted DMF’s success over the last decade in funding health, education, nutrition, and infrastructure in mining-affected areas. He called on district officials to treat DMF execution as a mission and fully leverage all available funds for community-centric development, aligning with the vision of a “Viksit and Atmanirbhar Bharat.”
  • Earlier in the day, Shri Reddy also inaugurated the DMF-supported Handloom Haat exhibition at Janpath. He toured stalls run by self‑help groups from mining-affected regions. The exhibition, running until 15 July 2025, offers a platform for artisans to display and market their work
