Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed Bagurumba Dwhou 2026, a landmark cultural event celebrating the heritage of the Bodo community, held at Sarusajai Stadium, Guwahati.

The event witnessed a record participation of over 10,000 Bodo artists, who performed the Bagurumba dance in a single, synchronised presentation, making it one of the largest cultural performances of its kind.

Artists from 81 Legislative Assembly Constituencies across 23 districts of Assam took part, reflecting the statewide representation and cultural unity of the Bodo community.
