Bihar Rajya Jeevika Nidhi Saakh Sahkari Sangh Limited

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi recently launched the Bihar Rajya Jeevika Nidhi Saakh Sahkari Sangh Limited through video conferencing, describing it as a highly promising initiative for women’s empowerment in the state.

Empowering Women through Jeevika

The Prime Minister said that mothers and sisters of Bihar are being provided with a new facility through the Jeevika Nidhi Saakh Sahkari Sangh. The initiative will enable women associated with Jeevika self-help groups across villages to access financial support more easily, thereby strengthening their livelihood activities and businesses.

Objective of Jeevika Nidhi

The primary aim of the Jeevika Nidhi is to ensure easy access to funds at affordable interest rates for members of Jeevika. All registered cluster-level federations of Jeevika will be made members of the cooperative society.

Funding Support

The institution will be jointly supported by the Government of Bihar and the Central Government, ensuring adequate financial resources for smooth operations and long-term sustainability.
