Centre Launches ‘PANKHUDI’ Portal

The Union Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD) on 8 January launched PANKHUDI, an integrated digital portal aimed at strengthening Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and partnership initiatives in the areas of women and child development.

Purpose and Scope
PANKHUDI is designed to consolidate contributions and collaborations from a wide range of stakeholders, including:

  • Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs)
  • Companies and CSR contributors
  • Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)
  • Government agencies
  • Individuals

The portal focuses on critical sectors such as nutrition, health, early childhood care and education, child welfare and rehabilitation, women’s safety, and empowerment.

Key Features of the Portal
According to the Ministry, PANKHUDI aims to:

  • Enhance transparency and coordination
  • Create a structured digital ecosystem for voluntary and institutional participation
  • Enable contributors to register, identify initiatives, submit proposals, and track project progress
  • Ensure defined approval workflows for projects

All contributions will be processed through non-cash modes, ensuring traceability and accountability.

  • Mission Saksham Anganwadi & Poshan 2.0
  • Mission Vatsalya
  • Mission Shakti
