Constitution Released in Santhali Language

President Droupadi Murmu has released the Constitution of India in the Santhali language, written in the Ol Chiki script, at a function held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi.

About Santhali Language

  • Santhali is among the most ancient living languages of India.

  • The language is widely spoken by tribal communities in Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal and Bihar.
