A high-level delegation from the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, undertook a successful visit to Georgia from 17–21 November 2025, focusing on enhancing cooperation in sericulture, textiles, apparel, and carpet trade.
- Participation in BACSA Conference: The delegation attended the 11th BACSA International Conference – CULTUSERI 2025, where India highlighted its global leadership in traditional silk knowledge and its contributions to creative and cultural industries.
- Showcase of innovative silk product: The Central Silk Board (CSB) presented its innovative “5-in-1 Silk Stole”, a premium product that uniquely integrates Mulberry, Oak Tasar, Tropical Tasar, Muga, and Eri silks.
- About BACSA: BACSA stands for Black, Caspian Seas and Central Asia Silk Association, a regional platform promoting cooperation in sericulture and silk-related trade and technologies.
