Duplantis, McLaughlin-Levrone Named World Athletes of the Year 2025

Sweden’s pole vault sensation Armand Duplantis and American sprint star Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone were crowned World Athletes of the Year at the 2025 World Athletics Awards, following a season of exceptional achievements.

    • Broke the men’s pole vault world record four times in 2025.
    • Remained undefeated in all 16 competitions, including sweeping both indoor and outdoor world titles.
