Why in News?

• Indian Army has launched Exercise Samanvay Shakti 2025 in collaboration with state officials of Assam & Manipur.
• Venue: Laipuli, Tinsukia district (Assam), with a parallel exercise in Manipur (20–30 Aug 2025).

Objectives

• Strengthen Military-Civil integration.
• Foster synergy between:
  • Army, Paramilitary & State Police
  • Civil administration & Govt departments
  • Local communities & civil institutions
• Build trust & cooperation among people, security forces, and institutions.
