Fourth Edition of Kashi–Tamil Sangamam Inaugurated in Varanasi

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath jointly inaugurated Kashi–Tamil Sangamam 4.0 on 2 December 2025 in Varanasi.

• The event highlights the centuries-old civilisational ties between Kashi (Varanasi) and Tamil Nadu, promoting cultural, academic, artistic, and spiritual exchange.

• The central theme of KTS 2025 is:
  “Learn Tamil – Tamil Karkalam”
• Aim:
  • Promote Tamil learning across India.
  • Enhance understanding of Tamil’s classical linguistic and literary heritage.
  • Strengthen cultural unity through language and shared civilisational values.
