IBM launches its first Infrastructure Innovation Centre in India

Technology major IBM has launched its first Infrastructure Innovation Centre in India at its new India Systems Development Lab (ISDL) campus. The facility, named the Sangam Infrastructure Innovation Centre, aims to strengthen India’s role as a global hub for advanced infrastructure engineering and artificial intelligence (AI) innovation.

The centre is expected to support both domestic and global markets, reinforcing IBM’s strategy to expand its infrastructure and AI capabilities from India.

Key Objectives of the Centre

The Sangam Infrastructure Innovation Centre will function as a collaborative engineering hub, where IBM’s:

  • Systems architects
  • Infrastructure specialists

will work closely with various stakeholders to develop AI-powered infrastructure solutions.

Collaborative Ecosystem

The centre will collaborate with a wide range of partners, including:

  • Clients and enterprises
  • Independent Software Vendors (ISVs)
  • Global System Integrators (GSIs)
  • Global Capability Centres (GCCs)
  • Other ecosystem partners
