India Re-Elected Vice-Chair of Asia-Pacific Bureau at COP10 of International Convention against Doping in Sport

India has been re-elected as Vice-Chairperson of the Bureau for the Asia-Pacific (Group IV) at the 10th Session of the Conference of Parties (COP10) to the International Convention against Doping in Sport, held from October 20–22 at UNESCO Headquarters, Paris. The session coincided with the 20th anniversary of the Convention.

  • Global Participation: The COP10 brought together representatives from over 190 States Parties and international organizations to strengthen the global fight against doping and promote integrity in sport.
  • Leadership Roles: Azerbaijan was elected Chairperson of the COP10 Bureau, while Brazil, Zambia, Saudi Arabia, and India were chosen as Vice-Chairs for their respective regional groups.
  • India’s Contribution: India provided in-kind support by showcasing interactive display boards highlighting the journey and achievements of the Anti-Doping Convention.
