India Records Best-Ever Performance at 2025 Asian Youth Games

India delivered its best-ever performance at the 2025 Asian Youth Games held in Manama, Bahrain, from October 22–31, 2025.

  • The event witnessed participation from 4,000+ athletes representing all 45 Asian nations across 26 sports.
  • India’s contingent included 229 athletes (107 men and 122 women) supported by 90 officials.

India’s Final Ranking: Sixth Overall

  • India finished 6th, securing a total of 48 medals:
    • 13 Gold
    • 18 Silver
    • 17 Bronze
  • The performance highlights the growing competitiveness, discipline, and depth in India’s youth sports ecosystem.
