India–UK Joint Military Exercise “AJEYA WARRIOR-25” Begins in Rajasthan

The 8th edition of the India–UK Joint Military Exercise “AJEYA WARRIOR-25” began at the Foreign Training Node, Mahajan Field Firing Ranges, Rajasthan. The 14-day exercise is scheduled from 17 to 30 November 2025.

Participation and Representation

  • A total of 240 personnel are participating, with equal representation from the Indian Army and the British Army.
  • The Sikh Regiment is representing the Indian Army.

Focus on UN-Mandated Counter-Terror Operations

  • Conducted under a United Nations mandate.
  • Primary focus: counter-terrorism operations in semi-urban environments.
  • Aims to improve coordination, operational synergy, and tactical proficiency.

Objective and Training Outcomes

  • Exchange of best practices.
  • Development of coordinated responses for complex and challenging operational scenarios.
  • Strengthening of defence cooperation between the two armies.

Flagship Engagement Since 2011

  • Held biennially since 2011, AJEYA WARRIOR has grown into a key bilateral military engagement between India and the United Kingdom.
