Indian Navy Establishes New Recruitment Centre at INS Kadamba, Karwar

The Indian Navy has inaugurated a new recruitment centre at INS Kadamba, Karwar, under the Flag Officer Commanding Karnataka Naval Area. This makes INS Kadamba the tenth recruitment establishment of the Indian Navy across India.

🔹 Key Highlights

  • The maiden Stage-2 recruitment for the 01/2026 Agniveer batch is being conducted from 10 to 15 November 2025.
  • Representatives from the Personnel Branch/Naval Headquarters, New Delhi and the Western Naval Command, Mumbai were present during the inauguration.
  • The centre strengthens the Western Seaboard recruitment infrastructure of the Indian Navy.

  • Enhances connectivity with the local populace and promotes awareness of naval careers.
  • Provides opportunities for youth from Karnataka, Southern Maharashtra, and Goa to join the Indian Navy.
