László Krasznahorkai Wins 2025 Nobel Prize in Literature

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced on October 9, 2025, that the Nobel Prize in Literature has been awarded to László Krasznahorkai of Hungary. The award citation praises him “for his compelling and visionary oeuvre that, in the midst of apocalyptic terror, reaffirms the power of art.”
