MoSPI Unveils New Logo and Mascot

The Union Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MoSPI) on January 1, 2026, unveiled its new logo and mascot, marking a significant step towards modernising the Ministry’s institutional identity and strengthening public outreach.

The newly launched logo reflects MoSPI’s core philosophy of “Data for Development”, underscoring the central role of official statistics in evidence-based policymaking, transparency, and nation-building.

  • Rupee Symbol (₹): Highlights the importance of statistics in economic planning, policymaking, and national growth.
