MSS+ technology

The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research – Central Road Research Institute (CSIR-CRRI), New Delhi, has developed the MSS+ technology for road construction.

• Eco-Friendly Approach: MSS+ eliminates the need to heat aggregate and bitumen, allowing construction in all weather conditions and reducing carbon emissions.
• UP Implementation: Uttar Pradesh Rural Road Development Authority (UPRRDA) is using this technology for green roads in the state.
• PMGSY Project: Around 202 km of roads are planned under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) in Uttar Pradesh during the current year.
• Quality Advantage: Roads built with MSS+ have shown superior quality parameters compared to conventional hot mix roads.
