NITI Aayog’s Women Entrepreneurship Platform Launches ‘We Rise’ Initiative

The Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) of NITI Aayog, in collaboration with DP World, has launched a joint initiative titled ‘We Rise – Women Entrepreneurs Reimagining Inclusive and Sustainable Enterprises’.

About the Initiative

‘We Rise’ has been introduced under the aegis of WEP’s Award to Reward (ATR) programme. The initiative seeks to support and scale women-led enterprises in India by providing access to:

• Global trade facilitation
• Mentorship opportunities
• Strategic partnerships to help women entrepreneurs expand beyond domestic markets.

Focus of the Programme

The initiative will focus on identifying and nurturing women-led Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across India that demonstrate high growth potential.
Selected entrepreneurs will receive structured guidance, global exposure, and market access support to expand their businesses internationally.

Partnership with DP World

As part of this effort, WEP and DP World have come together to empower product-centric women entrepreneurs, leveraging DP World’s global logistics and trade expertise to create new pathways for women-led businesses in international markets.
