PM Modi inaugurates redeveloped 524-year-old Tripura Sundari temple

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the developmental works of the Mata Tripura Sundari temple in Udaipur, southern Tripura under the Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Heritage Augmentation Drive (PRASAD) scheme.

Ancient Shakti Peetha

The temple is one of the ancient 51 Shakti Peethas, revered as a significant spiritual destination for devotees across the country. The inauguration marks a new chapter in Tripura’s cultural and spiritual heritage.

In a gesture reflecting local traditions, artists from the Jamatia Hoda community welcomed the Prime Minister with devotional songs, adding grandeur to the event.
