President Confers Swachh Survekshan 2024-25 Awards

Indore, Surat, and Navi Mumbai have once again emerged as the cleanest cities in the Swachh Survekshan 2024-25 rankings, securing the top three positions, respectively. These cities were recognized for their sustained excellence in cleanliness in the newly introduced “Super Swachh League.” Vijayawada followed closely, securing the fourth position.

  • Award Ceremony: The Swachh Survekshan Awards 2024-25 were presented by President Droupadi Murmu at a ceremony organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) in the national capital on Thursday.
  • Top Performers:
    • Indore: Ranked 1st
    • Surat: Ranked 2nd
    • Navi Mumbai: Ranked 3rd
  • New Generation Clean Cities: Ahmedabad, Bhopal, and Lucknow were declared the “new generation of top clean cities,” emerging as India’s leading Swachh Shehars.
  • Total Awards: In total, 78 awards were presented, recognizing cities, cantonments, and institutions for their exemplary performance across a range of sanitation parameters.
