RBI Launches HaRBInger 2025 Global Hackathon

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has launched HaRBInger 2025 – Innovation for Transformation, a global hackathon aimed at developing innovative, secure, and user-centric financial solutions.

• Theme:
  “Secure Banking: Powered by Identity, Integrity, and Inclusivity”, focusing on customer identity protection and fostering trust in the financial system.
• Problem Statements:
  Participants are invited to develop solutions in three areas:
  1. Tokenized KYC – Enhancing secure and efficient customer identification.
  2. Offline CBDC – Solutions for offline digital currency transactions.
  3. Enhancing Trust – Building technology-driven approaches to strengthen financial trust.
• Significance:
  • Encourages emerging technologies in banking and finance.
  • Strengthens RBI’s push for digital innovation, financial inclusion, and cybersecurity.
• Registration:
  Opened from 23rd October 2025 for entities and individual innovators worldwide.
