Saraswati Pushkaralu

In Telangana, the 12-day Saraswati Pushkaralu (सरस्वति पुश्करलु-Kumbh) is being at the temple town Kaleshwaram(कालेस्वरम), the abode of Sri Kaleshwara Sri Mukteshwara Swamy temple, in Jayashankar Bhupalpally (जै शँकर भूपालपल्ली) district.

  • The once-in-12-years mega religious fete is dedicated to worshipping the subterranean Saraswati River, which converges with the Godavari (गोदावरी) and the Pranahita (प्राणहिता) at the confluence point called ‘Triveni Sangamam’ (त्रिवेनी सँगमम) in Kaleshwaram.
