Three Gorges Antarctic Eye

China has unveiled a new telescope named ‘Three Gorges Antarctic Eye’ in Antarctica where it has established five research stations.

• ‘Three Gorges Antarctic Eye’ is a 3.2-metre aperture radio/millimetre-wave telescope. It has been unveiled at a scientific research station in Antarctica.
