UK-India Infrastructure Bridge (UKIIFB)

The UK-India Infrastructure Bridge (UKIIFB) was formally launched on 12 September 2023, during the 12th India-UK Economic Dialogue.

Exchange of Letters in London (2024): The initiative gained momentum in September 2024, with the exchange of letters between NITI Aayog and the City of London Corporation in London, as part of the India-UK partnership to accelerate sustainable infrastructure development.

Objective and Vision: The UKIIFB is aimed at unlocking infrastructure investment and leveraging the City of London’s expertise in structuring and phasing major infrastructure projects.

Institutional Collaboration: It seeks to enhance cooperation between NITI Aayog and the City of London, thereby creating new opportunities for sustainable infrastructure growth in India.
