Union Minister CR Paatil Announces Winners of 6th National Water Awards

Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Shri CR Paatil, announced the winners of the 6th National Water Awards (NWAs), recognising exemplary efforts in water management and conservation across India. The awards were conferred by the Department of Water Resources, River Development, and Ganga Rejuvenation (DoWR, RD & GR) under the Ministry of Jal Shakti.

    • 1st Prize: Maharashtra
    • 2nd Prize: Gujarat
    • 3rd Prize: Haryana
  • Best Urban Local Body (ULB): Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra
  • Best Village Panchayats (Joint Winners):
    • Dubbiganipalli, Annamayya, Andhra Pradesh
    • Payam, Kannur, Kerala
