Vayu Shakti–2026

President Droupadi Murmu witnessed the Indian Air Force’s mega airpower demonstration ‘Vayu Shakti–2026’ at the Pokhran Firing Range in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan on Thursday.

Integrated Combat Simulation

The exercise followed a structured operational storyline simulating a live, integrated combat theatre. It showcased the courage, dedication, and professional excellence of the Indian Air Force through coordinated air operations.

Demonstration of Precision Strike Capability

The primary objective of Vayu Shakti–2026 was to demonstrate the Air Force’s ability to carry out swift and precise strikes in simulated wartime scenarios.

• Fighter jets, transport aircraft, and attack helicopters accurately engaged designated targets.
• The exercise tested combat readiness in both day and night conditions.

Testing Integrated Warfighting Operations

The demonstration also validated integrated wartime capabilities such as:

• Air superiority missions
• Close air support operations
• Logistical and transport coordination
