• It urges a new policy consensus based on three core principles: equity, economic security for all, and solidarity, which are critical to reinforcing the three dimensions of sustainable development.

• Despite progress in reducing poverty, a significant portion of the global population remains vulnerable. Over 2.8 billion people—more than a third of humanity—live on just $2.15 to $6.85 per day. Many are just one setback away from falling into extreme poverty, with any recovery often proving temporary.
