Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri informed that Oil India Limited has successfully unlocked a new gas-bearing pay zone in the Dandewala Field, Rajasthan. I

n a social media post, Mr Puri said that the flow of natural gas for the first time from the shallower Sanu Formation at nearly 25 thousand standard cubic metres per day marks a significant achievement.

He added that it will help in strengthening domestic energy production and will provide momentum to India’s journey towards energy self-sufficiency.
