Justice Aniruddha Bose appointed Director of National Judicial Academy

The Supreme Court (SC) has appointed it s former judge Justice Aniruddha Bose as the Director of The National Judicial Academy (NJAC), Bhopal.

  • Justice Aniruddha Bose retired after a five-year tenure at the Supreme Court.
  • NJA is an independent society, established in 1993 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.
  • The Chief Justice of India is the Chairman of the General Body of NJA as well as the Chairman of the Governing Council , the Executive Committee and the Academic Council of NJA.
  • The Director, NJA is the Principal Executive Officer of NJA.
  • The Director is appointed by the Chairman, the Chief Justice of India.
  • Its mandate is to provide training and continuing legal education to judicial officers and ministerial officers of the courts.
