KAUMARACON 2026

Why in News?

The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), New Delhi, will organise KAUMARACON 2026, an international conference on Kaumarabhritya (Ayurveda Paediatrics), from 15 to 17 October 2026 at its Sarita Vihar campus in New Delhi.

About KAUMARACON 2026

• Organiser: All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), New Delhi.
• Duration: Three days, from 15 to 17 October 2026.
• Participants: Experts, academicians, researchers, practitioners and students from India and abroad.
• Objective: To discuss advancements in Ayurveda-based child healthcare, research and clinical practice.

About Kaumarabhritya

Kaumarabhritya is a specialised branch of Ayurveda that focuses on child health and well-being.

Its areas of focus include:

• Growth and development.
• Child nutrition and immunity.
• Mental health.
• Management of childhood diseases.

Department of Kaumarabhritya at AIIA

The department provides outpatient and inpatient healthcare services for children. Its facilities and services include:

• Newborn care through a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
• Vaccination services.
• Mental healthcare and skin care.
• A specialised outpatient service for cancer care in children.
• Outpatient services for approximately 120–150 children daily.
