Why in News?

The iconic Mohanthal prasad of Gujarat’s revered Ambaji Temple received the Geographical Indication (GI) tag on the first day of the Navratri festival in 2026. The recognition highlights the sweet’s traditional association with the temple and its cultural and religious significance.
