Israel’s successful interception of drones and missiles launched by Iran, has been officially named operation “Iron Shield”.
- As many as 300 Iranian killer drones, ballistic missiles and cruise missiles were launched at the Israeli territory overnight.
- In operation ‘Iron Shield’, Israel intercepted 99 per cent of the Iranian drones and missiles with the help of its allies.
- Iran, in its first direct military assault on Israel, launched drones and missiles in retaliation for the April 1 attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria’s capital, Damascus. I
