PM Modi conferred Indonesia’s highest civilian honour ‘Bintang Adipurna of the Republic of Indonesia’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on 7 July conferred Indonesia’s highest civilian honour, the ‘Bintang Adipurna of the Republic of Indonesia’ (Star of the Republic of Indonesia), by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto during his official visit to Jakarta.

It has been awarded in recognition of PM’s leadership in strengthening India-Indonesia friendship and furthering unity, continuity and prosperity of Indonesia.

About Bintang Adipurna of the Republic of Indonesia

Instituted in 1959, ‘Bintang Adipurna of the Republic of Indonesia’ is awarded to individuals who have rendered outstanding service towards the unity, continuity and prosperity of the Republic of Indonesia.

It represents the country’s highest civilian and military recognition and is reserved for those who have made exceptional contributions to safeguarding Indonesia’s integrity, stability and national greatness.
