PRISM-SG Portal

The Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways and the Union Minister for Railways have jointly launched the PRISM-SG (Portal for Rail-Road Inspection & Stages Management – Steel Girders) in the national capital.

The portal has been developed as a digital platform to streamline approval and inspection processes for the construction of Road Over Bridges (ROBs) across railway lines.

Key Features of PRISM-SG Portal: The PRISM-SG portal enables:

• End-to-end online submission of documents
• Scrutiny and approval processes
• Raising and resolution of queries
• Scheduling of inspections
• Uploading of inspection reports, photographs, and test results
• A complete audit trail with real-time monitoring

It also incorporates technical components such as:

• Quality Assurance Plan (QAP)
• Welding Procedure Specification Sheet (WPSS)
• Fabrication stage inspection of steel girders

Integrated Stakeholder Platform

The portal brings together all key stakeholders on a single digital interface, including:

• Road Owning Departments
• Indian Railways
• Contractors and fabricators
• Inspection agencies
