Rohit Jain appointed as RBI deputy Governor

The Government of India has officially appointed Rohit Jain as a Deputy Governor of the RBI. Taking charge on May 3, 2026, Jain steps into the role for a three-year tenure, filling the vacancy left by the retirement of T. Rabi Sankar.
