About JANANI

JANANI is a service-oriented digital platform designed to maintain and monitor digital health records of women during their reproductive years. It has been developed as an upgraded version of the existing Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) portal.

The platform creates a longitudinal health record by capturing service delivery events across the entire maternal and child healthcare continuum.

  • Family planning services

The platform aims to ensure continuity of care and timely interventions at every stage of maternal and child healthcare.

The platform also includes:

  • Automated alerts for high-risk pregnancies
  • Real-time monitoring dashboards

  • Mobile number

The platform also supports pan-India beneficiary search functionality.

Significance

JANANI is expected to:

  • Strengthen maternal and child health outcomes
  • Improve digital health governance
  • Ensure timely antenatal visits and immunization coverage
