Men’s Singles title 2022

  • Novak Djokovic beat unseeded Australian Nick Kyrgios 4-6 6-3 6-4 7-6(3) to win his seventh Wimbledon title.
  • The Serbian top seed won a fourth successive singles title at the All England Club to take his overall Grand Slam tally to 21.
  • It is Djokovic’s 21st Grand Slam title overall, putting him one behind record-holder Rafael Nadal.
  • Only Roger Federer has won more Wimbledon titles, with eight.

Women’s Singles title 2022

  • 17th seed Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan has clinched the Wimbledon Women’s Singles title defeating third seed Ons Jabeur of Tunisia in the final 3-6, 6-2, 6-2.
  • Rybakina is the first player representing Kazakhstan to win a Grand Slam singles title. She was born in Russia but switched nationalities in 2018.
  • The 17th-seeded Rybakina dropped only two sets in her seven victories at the All England Club. Rybakina, who turned 23 last month, is the youngest woman to win the Wimbledon title since a 21-year-old Petra Kvitova in 2011.

Men’s doubles titles

  • Australia’s Matthew Ebden and Max Purcell defeated the Croatian duo of Mate Pavic and Nikola Mektic to win men’s doubles titles at Wimbledon with a 7-6(5) 6-7(3) 4-6 6-4 7-6(10-2) win.

Women’s doubles titles

  • Barbora Krejcikova and Kateřina Siniakova defeated E. Mertens and S Zhang by 6-2 6-4 to win the Women’s doubles title.

Mixed doubles title

  • Neal Skupski and Desirae Krawczyk defeated Matthew Ebden and Samantha Stosur 6-4, 6-3 to claim the mixed doubles title.
