BiharOne Project

The Government of Bihar has launched the ambitious BiharOne Project, aimed at transforming public service delivery through a unified digital platform and advancing citizen-centric governance in the state.

As part of the initiative, a contract worth ₹87 crore has been awarded to Corporate Infotech Pvt. Ltd. (CIPL), with the platform expected to become operational by July 2026.

The BiharOne platform is designed to integrate multiple government departments into a single digital interface, enabling citizens to access a wide range of services without the need to visit multiple offices or deal with extensive paperwork. From applying for certificates to availing welfare schemes, the system aims to streamline processes and significantly reduce turnaround time.

Officials emphasized that the initiative prioritizes accessibility and inclusion, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently to all sections of society. A key feature of the platform is the integration of the Bihar Common Social Registry, which will facilitate seamless data sharing across departments and minimize duplication of documentation.
