Why in the News?
An Indian Army contingent has departed for Cambodia to participate in the second edition of the bilateral military exercise CINBAX-II (4–17 May 2026).

About CINBAX-II
CINBAX-II is a bilateral military exercise aimed at strengthening defence cooperation between India and Cambodia through joint training and operational coordination.

Location and Participation

  • Conducted at Techo Sen Phnom Thom Mreas Training Centre.
  • Indian contingent: ~120 personnel.
  • Cambodian contingent: ~160 personnel.

  • Company-level joint training.
  • Operations in sub-conventional environments.
