Sweden topped the ETI 2026, followed by Finland, Denmark, and Estonia.

India ranked 70th globally with an overall score of 54.9, emerging as one of the strongest performers among major economies.

The report acknowledges India’s progress in advancing its energy transition while balancing energy demand, investment needs, economic growth, and emissions reduction.
