INS Sudarshini participates in Escale à Sète annual celebration

The INS Sudarshini visited Sète as part of its ongoing transoceanic expedition Lokayan-26, marking a key milestone in India’s maritime outreach.

According to the Ministry of Defence, the visit highlights India’s commitment to maritime cooperation and cultural diplomacy.

During its stay, the ship participated in Escale à Sète, one of Europe’s largest gatherings of traditional tall ships and seafaring communities, and the biggest annual celebration of maritime traditions in southern France.

Prior to reaching Sète, INS Sudarshini had successfully completed port calls in Oman, Egypt, and Malta.
