Prime Minister participates in Vivatech 2026

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with French President Emmanuel Macron, participated in VivaTech 2026 in Paris, Europe’s largest technology and startup event.

The event highlighted India’s vision for human-centric Artificial Intelligence and the growing cooperation between India and France in emerging technologies.

The Prime Minister emphasized India’s transformation through digital payments, AI in agriculture, and space technologies.

India’s participation aims to deepen collaboration between the Indian and French innovation ecosystems, including startups, investors, and technology leaders.

India has maintained a strong presence at VivaTech:

  • PM Modi delivered the keynote address in 2021.
  • India was named the first Country of the Year in 2022 at VivaTech.
  • VivaTech has partnered with the Bengaluru Tech Summit to strengthen startup linkages.

The year 2026 is being observed as the India–France Year of Innovation, marking expanded bilateral cooperation in science, technology, and innovation.
