Sādhana Saptah 2026

Sādhana Saptah 2026 (Strengthening Adaptive Development and Humane Aptitude for National Advancement) is being organised from 2 to 8 April 2026 as a major nationwide capacity-building initiative to promote citizen-centric governance.

It is jointly organised by the Department of Personnel and Training, the Capacity Building Commission, and Karmayogi Bharat, bringing together Central Ministries, States, Union Territories, and training institutions on a common platform.

The initiative, with the tagline “Ham Bane Karmayogi,” also marks the foundation day of the Capacity Building Commission and five years of Mission Karmayogi.

Mission Karmayogi

Sādhana Saptah is an initiative under Mission Karmayogi, also known as the National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building, which is a Central Sector Scheme implemented by the Department of Personnel and Training.

The mission aims to create a future-ready, transparent, and citizen-centric civil service by shifting from a rule-based to a role-based and competency-driven approach. It focuses on building the skills, attitude, and accountability of civil servants to improve governance and service delivery, in line with the vision of Narendra Modi.

The mission is supported by two key institutions: the Capacity Building Commission, which helps ministries design and implement capacity-building plans, and Karmayogi Bharat, which manages the iGOT Karmayogi platform, a digital platform for continuous learning and training of government officials.
