Navy gets first indigenous multi-purpose vessel ‘Samarthak’

Samarthak, the first indigenous Multi-Purpose Vessel (MPV) built for the Indian Navy, was delivered by Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on 27 August 2026 at Kattupalli, Tamil Nadu.
